Overheard in the Bar: Our local indoor bowls centre located just a mile or two from the hotel. Situated in Kings Park, home of Bournemouth AFC football ground. The club has 8 rinks with excellent viewing areas and a bar. We (at Bowlaway) appreciate the efforts made by the club and its members to accommodate our many requests for friendly matches. The catering is high quality and the facilities are excellent. There is on-site parking

Overheard in the Bar: One of the largest indoor bowls clubs in the country with 11 indoor rinks. Dolphin IBC is wholly owned and managed by the members for the benefit of its members.   It is a fantastic facility – but it can be difficult to arrange a friendly fixture due to the clubs commitments to leagues and members sessions. Attractive bar, lounge and viewing area and good sized car park

Overheard in the Bar: A purpose built indoor bowling centre with 6 rinks situated around 5 miles to the east of Bournemouth (just beyond Christchurch town centre next to the Riversmeet Leisure Centre).  Run by bowlers for bowlers to offer a friendly, popular and happy club.  Parking is in the Pay and Display – so don’t forget to buy a ticket or you won’t be very happy

Overheard in the Bar: The home of Bowls Dorset HQ, they pride themselves on giving a warm welcome to visitors. The club celebrated its centenary in 2006 and from its modern premises on the edge of the town it offers a pleasant outdoor green with sun terrace as well as a 6 rink indoor bowls facility
