The annual World Indoor Bowls Championships are back in January 2016.

Once again, the tournament will take place in Norfolk and the organisers are expecting another great competition. If you’re not able to be there then you can watch matches on online and on the BBC. From the 8th of January matches will be streamed live on www.youtube.co/worldbowlstour. The WBT have also agreed a 3 year contract with the BBC to televise the Championships at Potters Resort for 2016, 2017 and 2018. The BBC will show the Championships live from the 18th to the 24th January 2016.

This tournament is one of the most exciting tournaments on the indoor bowls circuit and attracts bowlers from Canada, USA, China and Israel. Last year’s winner Alex Marshall will be back, hoping to extend his record of singles titles to seven. The standards of bowling will be high, and if you’re not out playing bowls yourself then you certainly want to be watching this tournament.
