Two of the biggest tournaments on the bowls calendar take place in Bowlaway country this summer.
50th Poole Borough Bowling Association Open Tournament
This 50th Anniversary Tournament takes place from Sunday 26th July 2015 to Friday 31st July 2015. The prize money for this tournament has been increased to a whopping £2,000.00 this year.
Bournemouth Open Bowls Tournament
Now in its 98th year, this is one of the oldest tournaments on the circuit, and draws entries from across the UK. The 2015 Bournemouth Open Bowls Tournament offers prize money of over £5000.00 and starts on Sunday 2 August 2015 with the Planet Bowls Outdoor Open, followed by the week long tournament, which ends on Saturday 8 August 2015.
